Refund Policy

Our Refund Policy complies with Australian Consumer Law and the guidelines outlined by the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission.

You are entitled to your choice of refund, replacement (if available) or a similarly valued product if there are:

  • Major problems with the product you have received
  • Major failures to comply with a consumer guarantee, cannot be fixed or is uneconomical to repair

If you have a minor problem with a product, Lakeside Mobility reserves the right to offer repair, exchange or credit depending on the circumstances.  You will be eligible for this offer if the:

  • Item is faulty
  • Item delivered to you is damaged
  • Incorrect item was delivered

We cannot offer a refund, repair, exchange or credit if under the following circumstances:

  • You change your mind once the item has been purchased
  • Damage the goods through misuse
  • Had a defect drawn to your attention prior to purchase (e.g. goods labelled as a second-hand with faults clearly marked)
  • You purchased the items without taking advise from our advisors or your therapist
  • If a product was specifically recommended by your Therapist. Under these circumstances, if you are not satisfied, please contact your Therapist as we take our direction from them
  • You do not have proof of purchase (please keep your receipt as proof of purchase)
  • The item is no longer required, or your personal circumstances have changed since the date of purchase, making the item irrelevant or unusable
  • Purchasing an item for someone else and that person determines the item is not suitable once they receive the product, unless the item is faulty, this is considered a change of mind

A 15% restocking plus collection fee will be applied for returned items.
